I received a letter from the Orange County Florida Voters board stating that they received my Provisional Ballot. The letter goes on to state that they received my ballot and I was eligible to vote but I voted in the wrong precinct, so it didn't count.
Well, This is totally outrageous. How was I spost to know what precinct I should have voted in? The fact that I had to do a provisional ballot should have stated that I had no Idea in the first place.
I think the good ol state of Florida has some work to do when it comes to the election system. Somehow I think we should be able to swipe our Drivers License and be registered. Who cares if your in the wrong location, who cares if you accidentally went to the wrong precinct. Its not like I can vote twice.
The right to vote should be more then required to vote in the correct precinct, it should let me vote from the comfort of my home, on my cell phone, or well anywhere for that matter. Its like voting is a circus. The elections are a circus.
How can the UNITED STATES of AMERICA be expected to keep its wealth, status, allure and so many other things if everything we do is a circus act. Is the voting system designed to hurt voters? Is the voting system flawed? How do we fix the voting system?
I fell like I have a huge rant ahead of me, like the world will just listen, or well, I don't know, who really gives a darn...

You Decide 2008 - Shiznit - MCCAIN
Today was the 2008 Primary Elections in the good ole' sun shine state, Florida.
Just like another day I woke up ate some food took a shower got dressed, etc. But my Phone Rang with a RESTRICTED telephone number. Of course I'm not going to answer that, I didn't know who it was, and there were no numbers to call back.
Well I get a Voice Mail, and its a recording... Damn Presidential Primary thing telling me to Vote for JOHN MCCAIN. As soon as I heard part of the recording "Please Vote for John McCain..." I pressed delete and promptly removed this email from my phone.
Yesterday On my way home I had the same thing happen to me on my phone, except this time it was my Governor Charlie Crist telling me that he supports JOHN MCCAIN and that I should vote for him.
First Off... I hate these recordings. I wont listen to them, and people who listen too them probably were already going to vote for John McCain anyway. It really just motivated me to go to the polls and vote today but for a different candidate.
I mean... What happens is John McClain is elected president will I then get a new Voice Mail every time he has some amendment that he wants to be passed. Whats next? Forced TV Ads, where all television stations air the same add at the same time all across the country.
Honestly I want a candidate that wont annoy me so much to get the votes he needs. I want a candidate that isn't JOHN MCCAIN.
This whole thing is turning into a bunch of Shiznit...
How many people do you thing were persuaded by the two recordings? What if the Two recordings didn't exist, would more people vote for MITT ROMNEY? I think when all things are fair and if JOHN MCCAIN wasn't allowed to be endorsed until after the elections we would have seen MITT ROMNEY win the 57 Florida Delegates. I mean it was 36% to 31%, all dictated by only about 200,000 votes.
If I called everyone in the state of Florida on the phone two days in a row and asked them to visit my Website, "weathat.com" Some people would listen. With the Millions of people in the state of Florida I think I could count on a 5% return, maybe more depending on the Ad quality. Well 5% the other way would really change the outcome of this Presidential Primary Election.
So I went to the Polls about 5 PM, to hopefully Cast My vote. Since I don't really have much faith in our Florida Processes, I figured that I would make sure I bring some pertinent information regarding my voter registration stuff.
You see about a month ago I followed my directions on my Voter Registration Card and Mailed with my address change to the address posted. I never received any information back saying anything about my voter registration. So I assumed that I wasn't registered to vote and probably wasn't eligible to vote yet.
So my friend calls about 4:30 and asked me if I had already voted, "No". He states that we no longer need voter registration cards to vote. "Really... I guess I will head out and vote then."
Of course since I received no information, I didn't know where my Voting District is. I just went to the nearest one that I knew where it was.
In I went. First person tells me to go see the lady in the Blue Sweater Since I'm not on the List. HUM... Not surprised. There was about 5 people already in line to see that lady in the blue sweater about why they couldn't vote yet. Most of them were just address changes so they moved fairly quick. After about 30 Minutes of standing there and waiting in Line it was not my turn. I handed the lady by ID. She punched me in the system and ... I didn't Exist.
What the Shiznit!!! OK so now they have to make a few phone calls to the Orlando Central Offices that they have been on the phone with all day. I kept standing there. Another lady handled the phone so the line didn't get really backed up. Anyway the first time I didn't exist in the Orlando System either.
The next thing I told them where I was last registered to vote and they had me looked up in some SUPER computer (Stupid... since I could have looked up all the information at home on my computer). Well they called it the Super Computer and they had three of them, It supposedly held information about all the millions of voters in the entire state? We need a Super Computer for that? I could have done that on a basic server with security enabled and everyone who I gave access could see it.
What the Shiznit... So after about thirty minutes the lady finally gets my Voter Registration number, party affiliation, etc. Next she gives that information back to the other lady to enter into the ORANGE County System. She couldn't find me with those number. By this time everyone is confused since I don't exist and I have been living in Orlando for Two years.
What the Shiznit... The lady frustrated enters me in the system manually putting in all my information as if I was a new voter. Great..., Now I just needed to Vote... But... I wasn't Exactly in the system so I can't vote like everyone else. I had to sign some forms stating I haven't voted anywhere else today and state I am who I say I am and sign it ( wouldn't someone faking it still sign? I just don't see how this gets any safer). After all the Shiznit is done I finally get to take my Ballot and Mark TWO little marks on it, one for the Presidential Primary and One for the YES NO vote for Florida's Amendment ONE. Next instead of taking my ballot to the box like everyone else and having it scanned right away I had to hand my ballot back to the lady who gave it to me. She put it in some folder with all my information. I was filling out a PROVISIONAL Ballot. Meaning that they may not even open it to see who I voted for...
And Now that JOHN MCCAIN won by 5% the 3 Provisional ballots that each Voting district gets... Somewhere around 6000 of them, means only 18,000 votes at most. Couldn't change the vote swing at all so I can honestly say My Vote doesn't count!!!
